Education Infrastructure & Academic Inclusion
Demolishing economic barriers to schooling in central Somalia through fully tuition-free primary academies, dedicated teacher stipends, and higher education scholarships.
Overcoming Education Poverty in Central Somalia
In Galmudug State, decades of civil strife and escalating climate disasters have left thousands of children out of school. While urban private schools charge fees ranging from $10 to $25 per month, this modest sum is completely out of reach for internally displaced (IDP) families, low-income pastoralists, and widows.
TDF’s model eliminates this economic barrier at the root. We do not offer small fee subsidies; we construct and operate fully managed institutional schools where attendance, textbooks, uniforms, and learning materials are guaranteed 100% free of charge.
National Curriculum Alignment
Our schools fully follow the Federal Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education (MOECHE) syllabus, ensuring our students sit for official national examinations and receive recognized certifications.
